I was born and raised in Barcelona (Spain). I was always curious and had a special interest in traveling, discovering new places and meeting new people, so I started studying Tourism at the University with the main goal of developing my career as events manager and hoping to work in different countries.
I started working for a Japanese multinational company based in Barcelona. After 7 years working there, I decided that it was time to move on and try new paths, so I quit my job in Barcelona and went to South East Asia. I wanted to live new experiences and try to find out if the life I had at that moment was actually the one I really wanted. So I moved out of my comfort zone and I was traveling for 2 years around different countries in South East Asia and Australia, working in hospitality in a small island in the South of Thailand and collaborating as a volunteer in different projects in Malaysia, Nepal, Japan…
One of my jobs abroad used to be working as a volunteer teacher of foreign languages and there was when I decided to work as a Spanish teacher for a living and not just for a temporary experience. After that, I came back to Barcelona and got my Spanish Teacher as Foreign Language certificate. I started teaching private lessons to adults and working for a Language School during my time in Barcelona.
To teach Spanish makes me feel very lucky because it gives me the opportunity to help others in the learning process, which is something really grateful. There are so many things we can learn from each other!
