B/A in Art History and a qualified professional Spanish teacher, working in Turkey since 2013.
My name is Teresa and I am a 36-year-old Spanish teacher. I have over four years experience teaching Spanish in Turkey.
I studied Art History at Zaragoza University. During my last year at University, I studied in France through the Erasmus program. Upon graduating from University, I moved to Madrid where I worked in different museums’ and cultural centers’ book stores. I have always liked literature, art, traveling and learning languages; for that reason, I decided to become a Spanish teacher.
I obtained a Certificate in Teaching Spanish and I found my passion.
I really love teaching and seeing how the students improve and how this gives them the motivation to continue learning.
In 2013 I moved to Istanbul and I began my career as a teacher. I taught in private schools teaching children. I also taught adults in private lessons and prepared them for DELE exams (Spanish Official Exams); I have the certificate to prepare students at A1, A2 and B1 level.
I am currently living in Antalya (Southern Turkey) where I combine my work at school with my private lessons. I love to see that people are interested in Spanish and are motivated to learn it.
